Love-in-a-Mist Flower "Resist" Labradorite Hoop Earrings

What is our nature as humans? To be kind, thoughtful, to come together in unity with an understanding that nobody is safe if everybody isn't safe? To understand that we are all impacted by harms perpetrated against the poorest or weakest among us?

We are an incredible species, capable of such deep empathy and kindness. It is that which will help us overcome, not singularly, but together. We must RESIST for ALL!

After my first pair, it was clear making more was top priority. Each letter was hand-sawn from sheet sterling. Truly was a struggle to get the letters affixed in this location, since they wanted to move constantly, but I managed to get them into place and they're very sweet. They're heirloom, timeless, and I know you will feel the love put into them when you wear them. What better way to resist than wearing one-of-a-kind works of art, made by hand, not in a factory?

These earrings have one of my favorite flowers to make, love-in-a-mist. These hand-fabricated flowers have a large, very blue labradorite that has such a stunningly, almost soulful flash, that they're beyond striking dangling below. "Resist" rests at the top of the slightly oval-shaped hoop.

These earrings weigh 5 grams each and measure 3" from the top of the ear wire. Note measurements are approximations.

If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.

All of my work, unless copper or brass (you'd see the difference), is 0.925 sterling silver.
