This four-leveled hydrangea is hand-fabricated, the top level being a beautiful Ethiopian opal. Up top and below are rhodolite. The top one with a more bold pink, the bottom with a slightly less bright pink appearance. The necklace has three total set stones, one a specialty kite-shape, and then three stunningly flashy opal beads off the extension chain.
The chain is non-negotiable. It comes as-is. The chain is a beautiful twist-link sterling chain, which cannot be taken off without jeweler's tools. It is attached by a "u" loop on the backside of the top stone. The pendant measures just under 2", with a 16" twist-link chain, followed by adjustable cable chain for an additional 2", making this necklace a possible 18" total.
At the end of the cable chain are gorgeous Ethiopian opal beads. I debated adding these to the end, but it felt really perfect for the piece and extension. It'll add a bit of sexiness to the back, but even if covered, will add some weight so the chain doesn't slowly move its way to the link in the front. ;)
Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.
All of my work, unless copper or brass (you'd see the difference), is 0.925 sterling silver.
