Stargazer Hydrangea Flower "FUCK ICE" Rainbow Moonstone Earrings

Of all the pairs, this pair was the most fun to make. Beautiful, eye-catching rainbow moonstones glow like crazy in all types of light. These are very good quality moonstones and they have, at certain angles, true rainbows inside, though their dominant color is blue.

Hand-fabricated hydrangeas rest above, with hand-fabricated hydrangea leaves below. On the first leaf is a, not-mincing words or softening it, "FUCK" and on the other a clear and unapologetic, "ICE". This sentiment is one I think is often shared with an asterisk in place of a letter in "FUCK", but I think we are at a moment in time where making things more comfortable for people is over. We should all feel uncomfortable- horrific things are happening.

Each letter was hand-sawn, then individually placed and soldered onto the leaves. This is a very time-consuming process, but one worth the outcome.

These earrings weigh approximately 6 grams each and measure approximately 3.50" from the top of the ear wire. Note measurements are approximations.

If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.

All of my work, unless copper or brass (you'd see the difference), is 0.925 sterling silver.
