Textural Fern "GOOD TROUBLE" Lavender Turquoise Earrings

A special request the last time I was working on the last set of resistance work, "Good Trouble" is a beautiful way to explain resisting fascism, oppression, tyranny, war, and everything that is happening currently in our socio-political landscape.

The word "Trouble" is quite long, as well, so are the earrings. These beauties come with the highest grade Kazakstani, Golden Hills, lavender turquoise. These stones have been waiting for their piece for along time. I always associate turquoise with strength and protection. Feels like the right time to use it.

The ferns were sawn from the shape of real ferns, with each leaf highly textured. The stem, as often I do, has a whimsical loop which attaches the stone to the leaf.

Each letter was hand-sawn, then individually placed and soldered onto the leaves. This is a very time-consuming process, but one worth the outcome.

These earrings weigh approximately 6 grams each and measure approximately 3.75" from the top of the ear wire. Note measurements are approximations.

If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.

All of my work, unless copper or brass (you'd see the difference), is 0.925 sterling silver.
